Meet Justin...a lover of all things outdoors. He's originally from Taiwan but calls Boston home. He stays busy as a Test Engineer for Sierra Nevada Corporation during the week and then a Black Hawk pilot with the Army National Guard on his duty weekends.
His passion for flying made him leave his active duty Air Force Research Engineer career in order to follow his dream of becoming a helicopter pilot.
"I wanted to be involved with the MEDEVAC community, and it's mostly
done with the Black Hawks...the most memorable moment was when I
picked up a wounded soldier when I was deployed to Afghanistan. He
later passed away but we gave him a chance to see his family before
he died."
Teaching is another passion of his, he loves to spend his off-duty time tutoring students in Math and Physics. When he can find the time to have some fun, you'll find him skiing the slopes in Colorado, hiking the most strenuous trail he can find, immersed in a river thigh high while fly fishing or playing a guitar by a fireplace while camping with friends. Oh and he's also a darn good piano player and pretty proficient in German too...what can this guy not do?
